The end of this month marks a very special anniversary for Rockstar Games: 20 years since the original release of Grand Theft Auto III — the game that gave players a new and unprecedented sense of freedom from the vast, tri-foldedness of Liberty City. The patch has been updated and the following changes have been made:
• DE is no longer dependent on some mods and without some mods the game no longer crashes.
• RoSa (+ improved AI textures) has been integrated into the DE with some improvements for performance and better game experience.
• Improved default cars (+ AI car textures) with some performance improvements have been added.
• Added real traffic improvements.
• Lighthouse and Pyramid Fix has been added.
• Improved default arsenal has been updated.
• The mixset has been updated and some adjustments have been made.
• Mobile GUI – Some improvements.
• Project 2DFX – Some improvements.
• Adjustments to MobileHud: Radar is now equidistant from the edges of the screen.

Do not forget that the update should only be installed on a clean game. There may be problems with saving as various bugs. Recommend starting a new game!
In honor of the upcoming anniversary, today we’re excited to announce that all three games will arrive on current-generation platforms in “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition” for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 later this year. Xbox Series X on PC | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Rockstar Games Launcher. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the original. In addition, ‘Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition’ will arrive on iOS and Android in the first half of 2022.
Plus, look for a convoy of special gear to collect in Grand Theft Auto Online at upcoming events this fall, including commemorative clothing and clothing, as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations for GTAIII.

We are also continuing to improve and develop GTA Online. As you may have noticed, we recently started cycling select adventure modes and player jobs in and out of the game. GTA Online offers an extremely diverse array of gameplay, hosting more than 1,000 Rockstar-created jobs and tens of millions of player-created jobs since launch. By starting to cycle jobs created by Rockstar in and out of the game over time, we’ll not only free up space for new missions and modes in the future, but we’ll also improve the game’s matchmaking by focusing on the community and more are doing. This will allow us to bring back jobs multiple times for special or seasonal events and help weed out some lesser-liked jobs, along with special bonuses that surface some of our old classics or community quirky favorites. Like this last week’s return of Offense Defense, Sumo, and more.
We’re also looking at ways to improve the GTA Online experience for new and returning players in the upcoming release of GTA Online for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S next March – details on that and more Stay tuned for Rockstar Newswire.
